Apply to Financial Reporting Analyst

We are currently seeking a Financial Reporting Analyst to join an oil and gas employer in downtown Calgary. As part of an internal promotion and other movements within the team this new opportunity has opened. The role involves external financial reporting, financial accounting, internal controls, research, and interactions with external auditors.

Responsibilities include:

Completing external reporting requirements, such as financial statements and annual information forms
Handling monthly internal reporting and analyzing IFRS
Conducting complex calculations and addressing accounting issues
Collaborating with auditors and managing ad hoc projects

Qualifications required for success in this role include:

Bachelor's degree and CPA designation required
Two to five years of post-designation experience
Direct financial reporting experience in the upstream oil and gas industry preferred
Proficiency in IFRS and public company reporting
Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills
